Our Mission is to provide fast and friendly service, and quality products, in clean and convenient locations. We pride ourselves on maintaining clean stores from the fuel pumps and parking lot to the foodservice area, sales floor, and of course the bathrooms! During the COVID-19 pandemic, we added hours to the daily schedule for enhanced cleaning procedures and sanitizing of high-touch surface areas.
Employees are always reminded to regularly wash their hands. We encourage even more thorough hand cleaning practices. We placed sanitizer at all registers and near high-contact areas throughout support buildings. We also dialed up encouragement for customers to wash their hands with additional signage throughout the store and by installing hand sanitizers at the doors.
Our Store Maintenance Team has done a great job adding physical plexiglass barriers at registers in all stores. The plexiglass serves as an added precaution to keep people safe.
Although many customers know to maintain social distancing in an effort to stay safe, a little reminder never hurts. We added visible signage throughout stores and at the pumps to help encourage employees and customers to maintain six feet of social distancing.
All Handy Mart employees wear face masks or shields while on duty, adding an extra level of protection to prevent the spread of virus. While we understand the discomfort of wearing a face mask, we are dedicated to taking care of people. We want to do all we can to help protect our employees and our customers. We are smiling under these masks! 🙂
We have been and continue to take steps to ensure our staff is healthy. We are providing resources such as paid sick time, access to testing, and flu shots.
